A Day at the Carswell AFB Airshow

 On 4-24-2010, hubby and I went to the Carswell AFB Airshow. It was a warm spring day, although a bit windy, but we, as well as a few thousand other people were there.  I hadn't been to an airshow since I was a child, but I enjoyed it every bit as much as when I was small! The best part of the whole show was when a very brave woman named Teresa Stokes stood on the wing of the biplane she was in, while the plane was in flight!

There were several B52's there that day, and there were third generation pilots flying them. I decided to take a few photos and share them with you.

Kay Grainger was there, as well as the band, Lonestar.  There was an outdoor stage set up for them. We didn't stay to hear the band, but it looked like quite a few families were staying. On the way out, I almost got in trouble for taking a photo of some planes I wasn't supposed to photograph! These planes were sitting out in the open, where anyone could see them, but when I went to take a photo, a guard came over to me and told me I couldn't take the picture!
